I'm an author-illustrator creating character-driven picture books that balance humor with emotional depth. My stories feature curious, big-hearted characters who question expectations, solve problems in unexpected ways, and discover that belonging doesn't require becoming someone else.

That fascination with individuality and community inspired my picture book series, Cassidy Cucumber. Set in the whimsical Garden Borough, where every cucumber is expected to become a pickle, the series follows one inventive little cucumber who would rather build than brine. Through humor, heart, and a dash of science, Cassidy's adventures explore curiosity, courage, and finding your own way in a world that already has a plan for you.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jewelry from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Years spent designing and crafting fine jewelry taught me to value precision, storytelling through visual detail, and the careful balance between creativity and craftsmanship; principles I bring to every picture book I create.

I live in Massachusetts with my spouse, our son, and two cats, and create picture books from a cozy, ever-evolving home studio.
