Jennifer Williams is an author-illustrator creating character-driven picture books that balance humor with emotional depth. Her stories center curious, big-hearted characters navigating questions of identity, belonging, and self-worth—often with a touch of mischief and invention.
She is the creator of the Cassidy Cucumber series, set in the whimsical Garden Borough, where tradition and individuality don’t always agree, and where being different just might save the day.
Jennifer’s work is inspired by a deep belief that children deserve stories that both entertain and understand them. Her creative background combines visual storytelling, structured production thinking, and a strong sense of narrative pacing—resulting in books that are both emotionally resonant and visually engaging.
